How to Apply

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit the following materials through ERAS:

• ERAS Common Application
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Personal Statement
• Medical School Transcript
• Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE/Dean’s Letter)
• Three Letters of Recommendation
  • At least one letter from an Internal Medicine physician is preferred
• USMLE and/or COMLEX Transcript

Applicant Qualifications

Our program employs a holistic review process and evaluates applicants based on academic achievement, clinical performance, leadership experiences, professionalism, service activities, and personal attributes.

Applicants must:

• Successfully pass USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK or COMLEX Level 1 and Level 2
• Demonstrate readiness for graduate medical education through academic and clinical performance
• Be eligible to begin residency training on the program start date
• Have graduated from medical school within the previous three years (exceptions may be considered based on clinical experience and individual circumstances)

We recognize that successful physicians bring diverse experiences and strengths to residency training and review every application individually.

International Medical Graduates

International Medical Graduates are encouraged to apply and must meet all standard application requirements.

Additional IMG requirements include:

• Current ECFMG certification or eligibility for certification before matriculation
• Minimum of three months of U.S. clinical experience involving direct patient care (strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated proficiency in written and spoken English
• Submission of all required ERAS application materials

Visa Sponsorship:

Landmark Medical Center sponsors J-1 visas through the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).

Applicants requiring visa sponsorship should ensure that all ECFMG requirements are completed in a timely manner and that all necessary documentation is available prior to the start of residency training.

Please note: The program sponsors J-1 visas only and does not sponsor H-1B visas. Applicants requiring visa sponsorship should indicate this within their ERAS application.
